About Me:
Reiki Master, Teacher, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, occasional writer of fantasy. Metaphysically bent but not broken.
Re-membering who I am and why I am and re-creating my future.
devotee of Bodhisattva Kuan Yin, passed on to me by my mother and now in turn being practiced by my daughters and my granddaughter. 4 generations blessed by this Divine Mother aspect!
“Namo Kuan Shih Yin-Pu Sa” is my mantra, Kuan meaning to regard, Shih meaning the world, and Yin meaning the sounds. Pu Sa is Chinese for Bodhisattva. This mantra means, “take refuge in the Bodhisattva who hears the cries of the world”.
A beautiful soul called Jennifer has created an illuminating internet introduction to Kuan Yin:

reminding us that
“The essence of the practice is not to know her,
but to become her.”
